Jason Redman has been entertaining central Ontario for the better part of three decades. As a singer/songwriter he has performed at numerous events throughout the Province. Described as a combination of Gord Downie and Gordon Lightfoot, and with a deep list of cover songs, Jason is able to engage audiences young and old.
July 20 – 1-3 pm Miranda Journey
Miranda Journey is an up and coming indie rock-folk singer-songwriter from Collingwood, ON.
Miranda began performing professionally at the age of 16. Over the past several years she has performed at an extensive array of venues and festivals, and collaborated in musical projects with other aspiring artists.
In 2018, Miranda released her first acoustic EP “Skin and Bones”. In 2019 she began releasing a series of singles such as “Oh My!” and “Headspace” that also appear on her debut album ‘The Art of Coping’. The album was released this past April.
With major influences like Angel Olsen and Liza Anne, Miranda’s quirky performances, signature vocals, and lyrically-driven songs leave the audience captivated and wanting more. She continues to explore new ways to infuse throwback sounds with new, experimental ones. Considering herself to be “New Retro”, Miranda strives to stay authentic to her sound while never putting limitations on what she can create or how she can evolve.
July 27 – 1-3 pm He Said She Said
From the Grey/Bruce area, Shane and Jess formed He Said, She Said in 2020 and have played their diverse repertoire throughout South Western Ontario since joining forces. With their great song selection, catchy originals, and contagious chemistry, they continue to build their fan base, and venue reach. They always look forward to playing live, and continue to write new material.
August 3 – 1-3 pm Shane Coultier
Canadian alt-folk singer-songwriter Shane Cloutier (aka #badassofacoustic) follows 2021 album release “Lie to Me ’til It’s Over” with new single “Your Blues.” With this new track Shane digs deep into the uncomfortable truth of toxic relationships, and introduces a new bluesy sound.
Shane’s solo career was sparked after facing tragedy and he turned to music as a way to heal. His previous three-album acoustic trilogy have been an introspective of facing adversity, while heavily focused on perseverance and reflection.
His first album “In Light” is purely acoustic and features one of his most popular singles “Shape of Me” which reached #5 on the Google Play folk charts. His second album, “Red Wagon” introduces new sounds with live bass and drums. The third and final album of the trilogy, “Lie to Me ’til It’s Over” he breaks new ground with his acoustic sound mixed with cello and programmed beats. Now with his most recent single release, “Your Blues” we are introduced to a new side of Shane with hints of blues.
August 10 – 1-3 pm Craig Smith
Craig Smith is a true musical explorer and pathfinder, a versatile artist who dons multiple hats in the world of music. An accomplished songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, confident live performer, recording artist, and highly sought-after producer, mixer and sound engineer, Craig’s musical journey is as diverse as it is impactful. Based in the picturesque Georgian Bay area, he has made this region his creative home, where he passionately records and produces music.
With an extensive musical background, Craig has toured internationally, released three solo albums, and co-founded the folk-alternative band ONTARIANS, where debut album, “The Greatest Short Story Never Told.’ received critical acclaim in 2021. ONTARIANS is currently working on a new release scheduled for spring 2024. Additionally, Craig takes the lead as the songwriter, guitarist, and vocalist for the new-soul, Motown-inspired band Queen M. Furthermore; he’s set to release “Frozen Light,” his eagerly anticipated third solo album in the fall of 2024.
Throughout his multifaceted career, whether he’s in the studio producing music for other artists, performing solo or with his bands, or planning the next big musical event, one constant remains – Craig exudes a warmth and honestly that permeates everything he touches, everyone he meets, and every sone he sings.
August 17 – 1-3 pm Emily Powers
Canadian singer/songwriter Emily Power, born in Hamilton, Ontario, immersed herself in music from a young age, learning classical piano and joining the award-winning Hamilton Children’s Choir. Graduating with Honours in Music from the University of Western Ontario in 2014, Emily’s diverse training allows her vocals to traverse genres. From performing Classic Country and Alternative Rock in Calgary to fronting Top 40 and Pop ensembles in Toronto, Emily now graces venues in Toronto, Collingwood and across the US. Her dynamic presence resonates at renowned spots like Shangri La Hotel and Blue Mountain Village. With influences ranging from Adele to Lady Gaga, Emily crafts relatable tunes with powerful lyrics to help connect us all. Her high-energy vocals create memorable moments for all audiences! Emily clinched the coveted title of Best New Songwriter at the International Songwriters Day Championship last year. Her ability to craft captivating lyrics and melodies that resonate with audiences is unparalleled.

August 24 – 1-3 pm Jeff Gunn
Jeff Gunn is a guitarist, songwriter and producer who co-wrote/co-produced Emmanuel Jal’s Juno-nominated album The Key (Gatwitch/Universal). He is the author of the Hidden Sounds: Discover Your Own Method on Guitar (Mayfair Music Publications) and a regular “guitar tips” contributor in print and film with Acoustic Guitar Magazine, Guitar World, Canadian Musician, Overdrive (Thailand), and The Guitar Mag (Thailand). He co-wrote the song “Scars” with Jal and Nelly Furtado for the film The Good Lie (Warner Brothers 2014) and The Black Prince (2017) soundtrack. He has recorded with Emmanuel Jal, Nelly Furtado, Bibi McGill, Mark Pellizzer, Kae Sun, Domanique Grant, Rayzak, performed with DMC, Swizz Beatz, Kate Todd, Tanika Charles, and continues to serve as musical director for Jal opening for such acts as Nico & Vinz, Peter Gabriel, Bonnie Raitt, Angelique Kidjo, Xavier Rudd, Mumford & Sons and Ellie Goulding. He has performed at Glastonbury, Juno Songwriters’ Circle, John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, Ringo Starr’s Birthday Concert at Capitol Records, United Nations, Grammy Museum Concert Series in Honour of Bob Marley, Jimmy Kimmel’s Annual Italian Festival, and at the Dalai Lama One World Concert.
